When a stationary pump is considered
A stationary concrete pump is positioned at the worksite and pushes concrete through connected pipeline. It is commonly considered for high-rise, deep foundation, infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects where delivery distance, pressure and a planned pipeline route are important.
Selecting the pump
Model selection should account for required output, maximum concrete pressure, pumping height, horizontal distance, concrete mix, line diameter, bends and the expected pour programme. A higher published rating does not by itself confirm suitability because the complete pumping system and site conditions affect actual performance.
Pipeline planning
The pipeline route should be reviewed before mobilisation. Contractors should identify the required straight pipes, bends, reducers, couplings, hose connections, supports and access points. Vertical sections, direction changes and long horizontal runs influence the pressure requirement and site preparation.
Site preparation
Provide a stable pump position, access for concrete supply, a safe pipeline route and an area for cleaning and maintenance. Confirm power or fuel requirements, communication between the pump and placement area, working hours and any restrictions imposed by the main contractor or site management.
Rental quotation
Send the location, programme, required date, estimated volume, pumping distance and height, pipeline route and preferred model if known. Sky Alpha will review the information and discuss equipment availability, operator arrangements and the quotation scope without inventing performance assumptions.
