A well-prepared rental enquiry helps the supplier assess equipment, pipeline, scheduling and commercial scope more accurately.
Start with the project facts
Provide the project name or location, contractor contact, required date, working hours, estimated concrete volume and application. Explain whether the work involves a high-rise structure, foundation, infrastructure, residential, commercial or industrial project.
Describe the pumping requirement
State the vertical height, horizontal distance, pipeline diameter if known, route, number of bends and final placement method. If the project already uses a pump or pipeline, include its model and connection details.
Confirm the operating scope
Ask whether the quotation includes an operator, pipeline, setup, mobilisation, overtime or other support. The exact scope depends on the supplier and equipment. Communicate expected pour duration and programme changes as early as possible.
Prepare the site
The site should provide safe access, stable positioning, concrete-truck movement, pipeline routing, communication and cleaning arrangements. Any permit, induction, lifting, security or working-hour restriction should be raised before mobilisation.
Review the quotation
Check the equipment category, date, duration, included services, exclusions and information the supplier used. If the project volume, route, hours or conditions change, ask for the arrangement to be reviewed rather than assuming the original quotation still applies.
